On Mothers Day I find myself thinking… about many long years ago.

I remember the day when I met this man and how I came to love him so!

Together we created new life on earth through this love we have for each other,

We planted the seed and watched it grow, until suddenly, I was a Mother!

So, on Mothers Day,  my heart is full as I look at the ring on my left hand.

He promised he would be faithful to me, and he’s been the most loyal,  upstanding man.

On Mothers Day when I read my cards, and as our children begin to call.

I look at my husband and I understand, HE gave me the greatest gift of all.
