Friends Forever

Another friend has passed away..He is in his mansion in the sky.
We are happy for him, but sad for us. We didn’t get a chance to say “Goodbye!”

Heaven seems to be filling up fast with so many of our family and friends.
Life is much emptier without them here. We pray our heart soon mends.

Gary’s soul was gentle and quiet. His smile was slow and sweet..
He was just like one of Gods angels.  A nicer guy you would never meet.

I think about his loving wife. They were married for 50+ years.
If I lived near to where she lives, I would help her dry her tears.

She takes comfort in their children. Their grandchildren give comfort too.
Gary’s spirit is surrounding her with a lot of love. (He knows she is feeling blue.)

He knows he is in his eternal home. He feels no more heartache or pain.
He whispers to her as she lay sleeping at night, “Someday we’ll be together again.

But, take your time my darling, you have a lot of life left to live.
Please enjoy our children and grandchildren, who will reap all the love you give.”

Heaven is so much richer now.  Another angel has found his place.
He is basking in the glory of God, bathed in the light of His Grace.
